Emerson Digital Coin Bank Save 43% off

Emerson Digital Coin BankI got this for my son and it works exactly as i expected. I read a few reviews before purchasing and was a little hesitant but went with my gut... I am glad I did. It is very easy to use. I don''t see how your "fingers will hurt" it is very easy to push the coins in and it blinks for a few seconds so as long as you don''t try to push more coins through until it is done blinking it will count every coin inserted. Also i saw another review saying it did not have a reset button.... did you look? there is one right beside the spot for the batteries and also after you unplug the batteries it will save your amount on the screen for enough time to put in new batteries, so that is a plus too! Great bank for kids and adults. My son loves it and it is teaching him what money is worth and the benifits of saving money.

Walk into a Sears store after Christmas and no doubt you''ll see a pile of discounted items (gadgets, mostly), including this "Emerson Coin Bank." Even if (or perhaps, "especially if") you like to save up your pennies, resist the urge to put out the 5-10 bucks for this highly erratic gadget. It does pretty well by recognizing various denominations--penny, nickel, quarter, half-dollar, silver dollar--providing you insert the coin just right (decisively, without the least hesitation) and leave sufficient time between coins for the counter to reset. The problem is that once it misses--and it inevitably will--there''s no way to adjust the counter to reflect the correct size of the coin that was entered, nor is there any way to adjust the total amount showing in the read-out display. (You may as well disregard the "instructions," which are of no help whatsoever.) Your only option at this juncture is to remove the 2 AAA batteries and allow the cover to sit for 30 minutes (the amount of time, according to the instructions, required to erase the memory of the display) and then to start all over again.

But hold on! You''re still not out of the woods. During the first hour of trying to use this time-waster, I was able to get the counter back to zero as well as to receive correct readings of each individual coin entered. However, after each and every entry, the display simply refused to give me an indication of the accumulating total value of my collection. Instead, it unfailingly provided the same constant reading: "FULL."

If you''d like to think your savings account is full when you''re down to your very last penny, then purchase this bank and dream on. If you''d like a bank that will motivate a child to save a few pennies while developing his or her arithmetical skills, you may wish to pass this one up. I''m told that "grade inflation" is an ever-present, increasing problem; even so, it''s nothing compared to this bank. It''s "FULL" all right, but discretion forbids me from saying of what.

got this for Christmas last year. neat idea except that it doesn''t count correctly. you press the coins thru a slot which measures the diameter of the coin. the concept is sound except that when you''re putting the coins in one after another it messes up. I''ve seen quarters go thru as dimes, pennies as dimes, dimes as pennies but it never....ever messes up on nickels.

This jar definitely counts change, and is a reasonable price, but be prepared for your fingers to hurt if you have a lot of change to put in it at once (say, transferring from another jar). The mechanism that checks the value of the coins based on size is a manual trigger you push the coins past, one at a time. The larger the coin, the harder it is to push. I had about $50 worth of coins that I did in one sitting my my hand hurt by the time I was done.

You''re going to want to look for a higher end coin bank if you would like to be able to take coins out and still keep an accurate tab. There''s no way to tell it you removed money.

Of all the Christmas gift, this one was the best. I included for each of four grandchildren a bag of about $30 worth of coins. They put them in one by one, watched the counter, emptied the coin bank, and did it over and over. They loved their Emerson Digital Coin Banks!

Cool Stuff Neoprene Carrier (32oz)

Nalgene Cool Stuff Neoprene for 32 Oz Bottle, Black/BlueI had just purchased 40oz stainless steel bottles and tried my old Nalgene cover on them. It fit even though it was intended for their 36oz bottle. I purchased two new covers and slipped them on my new bottles. Now I have insulation and dent protection for my new bottles. I have been very happy with this product in the past and the new covers with their new graphics should perform just as well.

I wanted this to keep sweating to a minimum, and to keep my water cooler longer, and does just that. But, I ordered the blue and black neoprene holder, and recieved a blue and black "polka dot" pattern that was not like the one in the picture. Still gets 5 stars for the product it self, but would rate 3 stars for description for the fact they didnt have the right picture. And Im hoping its durability will hold up for motorcycling.

This thing really works. It keeps my water cool during this hot summer for most of my 10 hours work shift. It stretches and can easily be taken off and put back on. It also holds the moisture inside so it won''t get wet everywhere you place your bottle.

I got these bottle covers hopeing they would not sweat on the outside. They DO sweat but not a lot. The shipping from this company was not very fast. I waited almost 3 weeks for these bottles.

This Neoprene insulator for my Nalgene bottles is how it is supposed to be, Nalegen bottle quality on the inside with water that doesn''t taste like plastic, ever, and a keep it cool layer of insulation with catchy designs on it outside. Haven''t tried it yet, but the fisheye on the insulator seems strong enough to hang off a D Clip.

ThirstClencher Bottle Holder (Blue)

ThirstClencher Bottle Holder - BlueI was looking for something simple to carry a water bottle on my waist or backpack. I really don''t like the metal bottles and this product works. It holds the bottle securely, and when I recycle the bottle it doesn''t take up room in a pocket. A great idea.

NCAA Kansas State Wildcats Stainless Steel Water Bottle

NCAA Kansas State Wildcats Stainless Steel Water BottleOrdered a KANSAS STATE Wildcats Stainless Steel Water Bottle and received a KANSAS UNIVERSITY Water Bottle! Very disappointing Christmas Gift for a Teen who will be attending Kansas State.

The bottle was painted white and is not silver as in the picture. Purple is sprayed on a quarter of the bottle and K STATE and the Powercat appear in white on the part that is not painted purple.

It is a gift and I am sure it will be enjoyed, but it was not what I was expecting. The paint job is fair.

Nathan Water Bottles Triangle Water Bottle Waist Band Save 17% off

Nathan Triangle Insulated Angled Holster Waist PackI have owned previous models of this belt, and while the bottle fits in this version a little better, the pocket has been downsized significantly. I had a really hard time squeezing my iphone in here (nevermind the two tissues and a pack of Gu that I also had to cram in). I am also not sure how I feel about the new velcro adjustment straps... seems harder to get just the right fit, but I will keep playing with it.

Platypus HyperFlow Cap Save 12% off

Platypus HyperFlow CapI just received this in my amazon order. I only gave 4 stars only b/c the price seems a bit high, relative to the price of the hydration bottles, and b/c I just started using it. So far, so good though. The packaging doesn''t include directions, so you have to figure out which direction is the lock, but other than that, it''s simple. I like this b/c I found that I really do drink more water when I use a "sip" style water bottle such as my Camelback hydration bottles. But I do love the collapsible and freezable features of the the Platy bag. I find it a bit wonky to use the pop-top nozzle normally supplied with the Platy, and usually just unscrew and drink that way out of it. The Hyperflow Cap basically makes the Platy bag "sippable" from an upright position, and basically collapses the bag right down as you sip, so I imagine there''s less swallowing of air...if you get it right. If air gets in, no problem, just burp it! The bite valve of the cap is way softer and easier to bite than the Camelbak bottles. It hope cleaning isn''t too difficult since there are a few pieces involved with the cleaning mechanism.

This is the perfect companion to the Platypus bladders. I have been using it daily for six months now with no issues. Makes it easy to get a quick drink without spilling water. With a simple twist of the lock you can store your bladder anywhere without worrying about it leaking. Worth $10 for sure.

I''m trying to figure out why there are no directions or instructions included with this product because I can''t figure out how it''s supposed to work, or if it''s already working properly and just sucks. This cap works great until you try to drink. There is no leaking whatsoever. But that''s because it simply doesn''t dispense more than a few drops of liquid when you suck on it. If I fill my Platypus PlusBottle up, attach this cap, and then bite it while sucking, I MIGHT get a teaspoon or two of water. No more. If I wanted to empty this 1 liter Platypus bottle it would take me at least an hour.

I''ve owned a Camelbak before and those nozzles dispense a mouthful of water in mere seconds. This Platypus cap is nothing like that. It makes you physically fight and struggle for water. I would never recommend this product to anyone and I''m hoping I can return mine for a refund.

UPDATE: I figured out what I was doing wrong. Once you screw the cap all the way onto the bottle you have rotate the nozzle counter clockwise to enable the flow of liquid. It would be nice if they had told me that somewhere on the packaging. I didn''t exactly find the cap and nozzle configuration intuitive. I''m still not convinced that the flow is adequate sometimes but that might have to do with the particular bottle I''m using. Overall I''d give this cap 5 stars if 1) it was a few dollars cheaper and 2) if instructions on how to use the thing were included with the cap.

It is OK it does not give a great flow it may just take some time to break in. Used camel paks in Iraq when I was deployed they have a better flow but gravity is on there side. I personally will keep as an extra but would not recommend

Black Bicycle Water Bottle Cage Handlebar Adapter

Black Bicycle Water Bottle Cage Handlebar AdapterThis is a very nice product at a reasonable price, including the shipping/handling. I did not purchase it to use as a water bottle fastener, however. I purchased it to use as a front mount for a chromed metal chainguard on an older CrMo framed bike I''m fixing up as an simpler 8-speed with single chainring. This adapter will provide a solid and adjustable anchor mount for the chainring using only a simple sheetmetal plate between it and the chainguard mount. I recommend this product for its original purpose and for other projects like this. Well finished and simple construction.

Evergreen Design 001 | Fluorescent Green

Evergreen Design 001 | Fluorescent GreenI bought this item for its low price and capacity and have used it every day for about three weeks now. I am satisfied with the function of this stainless steel bottle as it does what it does well and nothing more or less than what it is supposed to do. The bottle came well packaged in its own slender box. The graphics and coloration are of very good quality. The bottle top is also well made of quality plastic and rubber. So far, I''ve used it for brewed ice tea, brewed ice coffee and instant lemonaid. This bottle keeps my beverages tasting fresh all day without refrigeration. There is no metalic taste. The wide mouth is good for preparing my drinks but I find it messy to drink from as my first gulps from a full bottle always has fluid gushing past the sides of my mouth and onto my shirt. I also find the bottle top difficult to grasp when opening. Instead of that receiver for a clip, I would have preferred a more mushroomed top for my hand to grip and twist. For the price, I am still satisfied. I also bought the 002 design in Clean White and feel the same way about that one.

this is the first stainless bottle i purchased. for the money, it seems a great buy! Used it and the only complaint i can find is that if you pour cold water in the bottle, the bottle will get cold. This bottle does not leak and the paint is good for now. I will post again if i find something wrong with it, but I am happy with this purchase!

I really like the color and the big mouth design. The cap has a solid build and there''s no water leak. The ring is solid and can be hooked on a bag with a carabiner. The only thing is that if you drop this, it might dent or the paint might chip but this is usual for most bottles like this. Overall it''s a good buy.

The bottle looks nice and works well. It''s just a bit narrower than most of my other bottles and doesn''t fit well in bicycle''s water bottle cage.

Clear2GO Active Water Bottle with Filter (BPA Free, Gray)

Clear2GO Active Water Bottle with Filter, BPA Free, Gray, CWB401GYNOTE: My wife and I have two of these Clear2Go bottles (not "Clear2O" as the description states, nor is it a "24-Pound" bottle--it is capable of holding 24 ounces).

My job takes me to a lot of cities and towns. Often, I find I do not like the taste of the water. Some places have a strong chlorine taste while others have a sort of turbidity/pond scum taste (i.e. Indianapolis). I''m not concerned about the water safety anywhere, but I do wonder what source of water I would turn to if in dire straits.

I like the taste of the water at my home, and even more like the near-distilled taste of our Clear2O pitcher, as I use the filtered water to make our teas and coffees. I like consistency in taste and have thrown out batches of expensive white tea (silver needles) I''ve made in hotels simply because the taste from the local water made the result repulsive. With the new version of the Clear2Go, this should never happen again. The water from this tastes pretty plain, similar to the water from the Clear2O pitcher, with the pitcher still tasting a bit more like "distilled" or flavor free (it seems a slight amount of some ''local'' flavor can still get through this filter at times, but it is nothing like the original taste).

Clear2O redesigned their filtered water bottle from the ground up. First, it is virtually all made from thick, but light, BPA-free Eastman Tritan co-polyester. Their prior bottle was some flimsy material that allowed water leakage around the threads of the cap when squeezed. That cannot happen with this bottle, as it is as firm as you could ever want.

If it is so strongly made, how do you get the water out? It is not intuitively obvious from the picture, but the black features on the sides of the bottle, those "rain-drops," are an inert sort of rubberized plastic that is extremely flexible, but taste-free. You squeeze the black bladder areas and water easily comes right out. No fuss at all.

The flip top has a spring hinge that assures the lid does not come back at your face when above you. A small button releases the lid.

There is a "travel loop" to allow you an additional carry option.

The insert that came with the bottle states that it has been tested for reduction in four areas. They are as follows:

Particulate Class I ( >0.5 um to 99.99% reduction

The bottle was designed in the US and made in China, but seems very well made. There is no plastic or rubber taste imparted from the bottle. It is dishwasher-safe as long as you first remove the replaceable ceramic filter.

My wife and I expect to use our bottles for years to come. The new Clear2GO Tritan bottles are definitely worth the money!

UPDATE: My wife''s bottle continues to be just fine; however, my own bottle developed a leak along-side one of the bladders. I have had to stop using it, which, if you could feel the bottle, you''d think it was the most well-engineered water-filter bottle you could expect to find. The bottle is done in by an adhesive problem. Stay away until this is fixed.

I bought two of these bottles for my husband and I. The first time I used it, I loved it. Then I hand-washed it with warm soapy water and now the rubber squeeze apparatus is tearing away from the plastic bottle and leaking after only one use. We have not used the second bottle to tell whether it is defective or very poorly designed. Either way, it''s going back. I requested a replacement in the hopes that I had a "bad bottle" and it won''t happen again, because it''s such a nice bottle otherwise...

I first got one of these a couple of years of ago and it worked great. I didn''t have the leakage problem like I had with their earlier model, which can be found here:

http://www.amazon.com/Clear2GO-Water-Bottle-Filter-Silver/dp/B00265MBSG/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1356292365&sr=8-9&keywords=clear2o&tag=651998669-20

Anyway, I didn''t use this one much so I didn''t wear it out or anything. Fast forward to this year, it''s been in storage for a while so I decided to go back to using it. Only a few days after using it, it started leaking. One of the bladders is disengaging from the bottle. Every time I squeeze, water is getting everywhere. Needless to say, I''m disappointed. Besides that problem, the filter is great and I really like the design. I''ve even had people ask me where I got it because it''s eye catching. I wish the company would put more of an effort into design because the idea is really good, but at the end of the day, I advise passing on this brand.

These are fantastic water bottles I like the ones that have the plastic squeeze sides as you don''t have to suck out the water. I have 3 of these with extra filters. You get 100 gallons of water out of one filter and that is a lot! Much cheaper for hiking than the water purifiers out there. The filters are made by NASA and filter out 99% parasites and contaminates. A+ in my book!
