The photo of the item is incorrect. I bought two of the packs; for my husband and myself and we had hoped for the water bottle holders. There are no water bottle holders on our waist packs. Otherwise, the bags are very spacious, with many great compartments; just nothing for a water bottle!

My work involves a lot of heavy lifting. Usually, I have a waist pack to keep small tools, pens, athletic tape, and so on. They tend to take a lot of abuse from being smashed up against boxes, railing, or shelving.

This item did not hold up well. It may not be its intended use, but I''ve bought cheaper cloth waist/fanny packs that have lasted a LOT longer. The main issue is that the buckle on mine busted not a week or two after arriving. I used it for a little while longer by tying it together with some rubberbands, but the rest of the buckle eventually broke off completely.

Also, the black staining rubbed off very quickly. Making it look very old for its lifespan. There are also either corded leather or rubber borders around the sipper/pockets (or at least on the front) that came loose. These bands liked to catch on things, and I''d suddenly find myself stuck on something.

And, yeah. As with the other reviewer statement, NO BOTTLE HOLDER.

I''m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because I put it through more abuse than the average customer. But I will make my point again:

There are other, CHEAPER waist packs that will last you longer than this make. And buy something cloth if you want it to look nicer longer.

I should have listen to the last review,that I''ve read.I did''nt get what they ordered as pictured.I had a funny feeling about it.But,thats the gamble,when I am ordering on-line.The fanny pack I got is not the same as the pictured.I was wanted the two size pocket thats pictured at Amazon.com.Two size pocket for my cell phone and a pack of cigarette.What I got was just one for the cell phone only.Bummer.But anyway,it nice looking.leather not pleather.

This waist bag is exactly what I was looking for. I find it very handy having such a thing especially during warm time of the year when you don''t have a lot of pockets for all your stuff. There is a big compartment for things like a wallet, a checkbook, etc. Also it has a few smaller compartments that are very well organized and include designated places for IDs, credit and other cards, and even a key chain for, well, your keys! The bag also has two compartments fitted for a cell phone or MP3 player. The quality is quite satisfactory as well; leather is smooth and pleasant for a touch. I am truly satisfied with my purchase.

This thing is huge, you don''t even need a purse. I used it in a half marathon, it was a little cumbersome but workable---flopped around when I ran. ALso, be aware, the black dye came off on my clothes some but that was because I was sweating I don''t think it would be a problem if your not working out.

Fashion wise, its fairly ugly and elderly looking, lol, sorry. I think that its the perfect size for traveling with children or traveling through the airport etc. and the straps were easy to adjust. You can access your important docs and snacks without digging into a purse or backpack etc.
