Bought these for a trip to Maui. Took frozen food in a softsided cooler and wanted to make sure the food would stay frozen. The food was still frozen when we got to our condo after a 12 hour flight, 1 hour waiting for our luggage and a 45 minute drive to our condo.I also like the fact that when they do "melt" there is no water dripping. You just freeze and reuse. Shipping was fast too.
I have also used 2 of them in an ice chest, and things stay cold for hours. I used them today to go to the grocery knowing that I had stops to make on the way home. I arrived home a couple hours later, and I had put milk and yogurt in the ice chest with the ice mats. Everything was ice cold when I got home. I love this product, and just wish I had found it sooner.

These work great for me. So far, I''ve used them about 20 times, in a soft-sided cooler that travels to baseball games. Even when frozen, there''s some bendability to the mats, which lets me shape them, somewhat, to the size of the cooler. I like to throw these in a cooler when I''m going to the pool or to the lake.I also have a back injury that these work great on. They are broad enough to cover everywhere I need. I would recommend these ice mats to anyone.
The only thing I wish I could find is a sling I could put these in so I could wear them without having to be seated or laying down. I know a seamstress who could prob make me something so I''ll prob go that route
