I bought this product knowing that many of the reviews claimed that the bottle leaked. However, with few options for a torpedo style mount and many positive reviews suggesting that the leaky bottles could be fixed with a little "home engineering". I assumed that a little splashing after going over bumps would be no big deal.I was shocked after installing the bottle to discover that it doesn''t so much "leak" as it does "pour" water out of the front straw hole until the bottle is less than about half full, when it stops only because the fluid level is below the huge poorly engineered unsealed gap that exists between the bottle and the straw that comes out of it. My race nutrition is a sugary mixture, splashed and wasted water is one thing, but dribbling sticky sugar all over the front end of my bike is not acceptable.
This would be a crappy product at $10, at $60 the design is inexcusably poor.I bought this last month and brought it home and it immediately started to leak like the above reviews mentioned. I notified that retailer I bought it from and they ordered me a new one. In the mean time I looked online for reviews and found the above reviews and was very hopeful after seeing the manufactures response. When I got my 2nd one on Saturday I tested it in the store and it did not leak....at least not in the story. When I got home and filled it, it left a huge puddle beneath my bike in a matter of a few hours. If I was to use it as is, I either have to only use it for water or I have to deal with it leaking Carbo-Pro all over my front end (the stuff is like cement so this is no good). If I only use it for water, it really limits how I take in my nutrition....kind of defeating the purpose of the purchase (at least in my eyes). I would say if you want to use it for only water and can handle the constant leaking then it''s as good as any. Other wise just set up the front bottle mount and use a regular bottle instead.

I had high hopes for this product when I purchased it, but was extremely disappointed when I filled the bottle and it started leaking around the lid. I tried several different bottles and all had the same issue. I put a standard lid on those same bottles and turned them sideways for comparison. The standard lids did not leak and I had hoped for the same from the A2. I will either return or call the manufacturer for suggestions or a replacement. Also, if you don''t set the tubing correctly you won''t be able to drink the lower half of the bottle. While a great concept, it needs some fine tuning.Read Best Reviews of Inviscid Design Speedfil A2 Here
The problem with the A2 is, simply put, there are too many seals and not enough quality control. My A2 leaks from where the straw inserts into the bottle head. My riding buddy''s has never sealed properly where the bottle meets the head the o-ring there, for him, does nothing. In my instance, I fixed it with some aquarium cement, but Heaven help me if I ever need to clean it again. For my buddy, he just deals with it.
Other than that, decent product. Easy to fill. Easy to drink from. No real complaints other than the nitpick of wanting my liquid to stay in the bloody bottle.

I purchased the A2 three weeks ago and waited for 5 long rides to write the review. I can only assume that those who experienced leaks must have an error with initial setup. It will take a few minutes to get the tubes and mouthpiece in correctly but it''s not difficult. I use a Specialized 20 oz bottle and an XLAB torpedo mount. It is sturdy, works great and refills easily on the fly.I had a problem with the initial shipment and contacted Inviscid Design directly via email on their website. They answered my questions and sent me a replacement mouthpiece the next day. Very pleasant experience and happy to have a company stand behind their product.
