I''ve used these fold a jugs for the last couple of years. Last year I was hiking with two every weekend. They hold up well and take up very little space inside my pack. I''ve had to replace a couple that met an early death when my Labrador decided to liberate the water into my back seat. It should be pointed out that unless you''re using bagged ice or crushed ice it would be very difficult to add ice through the top like the description states. Ice has never made it into mine since i normally fill mine with filtered stream water.

I love these jugs. They are small enough to fit my backpack but not over sized like the 5 gallon jugs. It is much easier to carry one gallon of extra water back to campsites than a huge and heavy 5 gallon container.

I have used the container a few times and to works well. However; it does seem a little over priced for what you get. If I get another one I will probably just buy it at a Bass Pro Shop or a similar store.

I put this in the trunk of the car for emergency use. Nice and compact and tucks away in a corner very well.
