I found that it was not sealing the carbonated drinks put into the container and the gas pressure caused the bottle to leak. The container seems to be difficult to seal tightly and loses pressure quite rapidly.

Just got this bottle from Amazon and I bought it knowing I may be disappointed, but I couldn''t resist how cool looking it is.

Where It Needs Improvement:

The bottle isn''t double-walled/insulated so it doesn''t keep ice cold drinks cold for very long.

There''s nothing special about it''s design, contrary to the claims it doesn''t do anything unusual to maintain carbonation. The domed design doesn''t really do anything special other than look "domed".

If you fill the bottle as much as you can with a carbonated drink, it can keep it that way due to how Henry''s Law works. However once you start drinking from it and more air space is available in the bottle, the drink will go flat at a faster rate. So if you want to maintain carbonation, fill it to the top. However once you start drinking from it, it''s better that you finish your drink soon unless you don''t mind flat tasting drinks.

What I Found It Best For:

My opinion is I don''t like carbonated or heavy sugary drinks when they''re warm or less than ice cold. However it''s different when I want Gatorade during sports, iced tea or plain water. For some reason I don''t like the thermal shock in my stomach when I''m working out and consuming an icy cold drink. So when I go to play basketball, surf or go to work indoors in a very cold building, that''s what I use this for.

This thermos works just like it claims. I bought it to keep mixed drinks cool while at the pool and on my trip to Vegas. Holds pressure and keeps the contents cool pretty long I added ice to the drink. Comes apart easily for cleaning.
