Miir is an awesome company they do a lot of great work and do it in an efficient and productive way. The product is excellent, I''ve bought 3 Miir bottles for my wife, Mom, me and will buying one for my daughter as soon as she is old enough to carry one. The lids are incredible; screw on straight every time, one full turn is all that is needed to seal it and are exceptionally rugged. The bottles are light weight and tough. The opening is just large enough for most ice you find at restaurants and cafeterias but not so big you splash yourself while driving. All sizes fit into cup holders and backpack pockets and are equally adept at rolling around the floors of dingy vehicles or bouncing around in truck beds. I put everything from fruit smoothies to coffee in mine and it''s never held a single flavor! I highly recommend these bottles, you are getting an outstanding product and supporting a remarkable company.
aside from it being a great bottle, it also supports a great cause. CLEAN WATER! For every bottle Miir Sells, it provides an entire year of clean drinking water to someone who doesn''t have access to it. 1 Billion people don''t have access to Clean drinking Water, 85% of disease in the world can be prevented just by having access to clean water, and Miir is setting out to change that.
You can be a part of Change... Just by buying a bottle.I have owned my MiiR water bottle for about 4 months now, and my conclusion is that this is an average, unexceptional product. The best feature is that the screw cap is sturdy, as other reviewers have observed. A less-desirable feature is that the paint comes off too easily if the bottle is dropped or placed on an abrasive surface. Another small gripe is that the insulation is sub-par. I know that MiiR specifically sells insulated versions, but I was still surprised at how quickly my water came to room temperature in the non-insulated version.
