Pros:

Fits car cupholder.

You drink normally, don''t have to suck or squirt.

You can fit ice cubes in.

You can freeze the whole thing if you want or by accident (important in our Montana winters!)

The finger-grip is a nice touch.

Good gripping surfaces on lid and bottle.

Dishwasher safe but I always hand wash plastics.

Translucent so you can verify cleanliness or how much water is left.

Easy to fit a scrubber or bottle brush inside to clean it.

Cons:

It is slightly unstable on a flat surface. Recommend you keep it closed between drinks.

Obviously it is not insulated but all the "Pro" features above are so much more important to me.

Doesn''t leak:

I can hold it upside-down and shake it without leaks. I routinely throw it in a bag when walking from car to work or home and it lays on its side and doesn''t leak. The only time it has leaked on me was when I dropped the whole bag onto the floor and it caused the lid to pop open. I''ve been using it daily for almost a year. Longterm carrying in a backpack with books, squished into a locker, tossed under the bus seat, might be pushing your luck.

As for leaking at the screw-on point, apparently some versions of this bottle have a gasket sealing the screw-on lid but mine seems to have a different design. Since some reviewers say the gasket falls out and then the bottle leaks, I am glad mine is not that style. Because it has good grips, it is easy to screw the lid on tight and still be able to open it later.

I like this bottle so much that I bought two more on seasonal special at my grocery store, in a 2-pack at a very good price.

This bottle has flooded my gym bag, the seats of my car, my floor boards, and various other places when the lid pops open. It would have been clever if they''d made the weird rubber ring strap thing double as a tie down for the flip-up lid.

I love the bottle, I originally bought it elsewhere and was looking to buy more. It is spill proof. However the next week I found a pack of TWO bottles at Target for just 2 dollars more.

I like the bottle overall. But when I fill it, and add my propel mix, then shake, it usually leaks at the screw on point. I think it needs the gasket that the previous design had. The pop top does open accidentally sometimes, but a lot less then the old design. And it is a bit top heavy... which can be an issue for some...
