This is a very nice product at a reasonable price, including the shipping/handling. I did not purchase it to use as a water bottle fastener, however. I purchased it to use as a front mount for a chromed metal chainguard on an older CrMo framed bike I''m fixing up as an simpler 8-speed with single chainring. This adapter will provide a solid and adjustable anchor mount for the chainring using only a simple sheetmetal plate between it and the chainguard mount. I recommend this product for its original purpose and for other projects like this. Well finished and simple construction.
