We needed to purchase plain(as in no cartoon characters) kid sized stainless steel water bottles (with a flip top lid) for school. My boys absolutely love the bottles. They are sturdy, water doesn''t taste weird, and the sport top are easy to drink from. We have had no problems with chipping. I do hand wash them. We have had these for about a month and so far so good. I will also add that these were much less expensive than other plain bottles for boys.
