I''ve used these for a year now to make small batches of Mead and Beer. They''re 2.7 gallons when filled to the bottom of the "funnel" so they make a nice 2.5 gallon Carboy. The clean up great, just like a Better Bottle, for a fraction of the price. Having the handle has not been an issue.

I was very disappointed upon receiving my bottles to learn that they are made of polycarbonate which has a recycling number 7. These bottles will certainly leech BPA (a known endocrine disruptor) into drinking water.
