I ride my Sea-Doo in salt water mostly and flush the cooling system and the hull with this stuff every time. It is great stuff...my ski is 3 years old, looks like new, runs like new and I think a lot has to do with consistent use of Salt Away.

I flush the Mercruiser 5.0L EFI engine on my Sea Ray 190 after every dip in salt water with Salt-Away. I also spray it on the boat and trailer with a garden hose sprayer. My boat is over 10 years old and runs great and I attribute much of the credit for that to consistent use of Salt-Away. I use this for my 2004 Yamaha fx ho. I connect it to my hose, and also wash the whole ski with it. It takes all the salt off with one application. Also wash the bottom of my car which can get salt water on it from dropping the ski....Great Product!

I have been using this product for over 10+ years for my ocean-going boats (latest is 1966 Dorsett Fairlon that keeps on going now for 11 years). Used properly in the engine, it slows the damages from saltwater to the exhaust system and all plumbing related. I also use it when flushing the braking systems on the trailer which has cut costs down for trailer maintenance. Of course, I also use it while washing the boat/trailer/rods and electrical accessories that get hit with the saltwater. I have used other products, but this seems to work the best.

I haven''t used this for very long, but it seems to work well (sort of foams like soap, when I use it from the auto-dispenser).

Bio-degradeable, so I don''t need to worry about it flowing down the boat ramp into the water.

I''ve flushed it through my ''94 mariner 60 hp (about 30 seconds, then 5-10 minutes of freshwater) every time I''ve used it, and although this is the first season that I''ve had this motor (which was just completely rebuilt) I feel good about its positive impact.

I also use it all over my pontoons, and trailer. Combine this with fluid film onto the raw steel parts (engine block, electrical connections, leaf springs, trailer bolts) and you should have a shot at heading off salt water corrosion.
