My biggest issue with this bottle is that the flip-cap version spills easily. If it tips over or you''re carrying it in a bag, the cap comes open easily and water immediately spills everywhere. This could be easily improved by designing a different mouth opening. The other trade-off with getting a glass bottle is that they''re pretty heavy, and to have a reasonable weight for commuting, I had to get a 16 oz bottle when I traded in my 32 oz plastic one. (that has nothing to do with this brand in particular)
Lastly, I find it pretty difficult to take big drinks without a loud "glug" sound. I may just be a hillbilly, but I seriously have not had this problem with any other water bottle, and this is embarrassing in meetings or offices!
I''m actually going back to a plastic one because the spilling, glugging, and constant refilling drive me crazy. If they design a better lid that doesn''t spill, I would definitely consider getting this brand again.
