Waterbox Round Tritan Water Bottle Save 15% off

Waterbox Round Tritan Water BottleI am a firefighter, army veteran and avid backpacker who has used and abused a wide range of gear for about 15 years. I have owned for just about two years two stainless bottles and one plastic WaterBox bottle.

These are about best out there. Reliably leak proof, almost supernaturally durable (a multitude of tumbles down the rock & trail that produce dents and dings, but no cracks & no leaks) are an outstanding value. Mine have been found at significantly lower prices, in store and online, than overpriced competitors (CamBak) & they carry better & are not as bulky as Nalgene. (of which I am a fan of)

"OTHER" brands of bottles always eventually loosen up and leak, or break, or crack around the threads, flimsy Nalgene lids over tighten and strip and so on. The round are thin and the square are compact, and they carry and pack exceptionally well. The thick and perfect lid is beyond awesome.

Also, a firsthand response to a previous question... A quick e-mail to the company through the website had a lost lid replaced 100% free of charge in a little over one week.

Bottom line: No brainer. The cost is a few bucks, just get the bottle. If dust and dirt is uncontrollably contaminating your water it might be best for you to stay indoors on the couch.

I now have several of the Waterbox bottles in both the round shape and the more squared off shape.

Best feature is probably the lid it is very comfortable to open and close with no leak issues.

The size of the bottle is also good holds a much more water than disposable bottles and you can even get in large ice cubes.

All have washed up easily in the dishwasher for me

I understand from their website if anything happens to your cap they will replace it so it makes you feel good they stand behind their product

You may want to stock up and buy several

I used this water bottle for about a week before going back to my old one. The mouth opening is huge allowing chugging but also allowing all the water to dump out in seconds as well as allowing dirt to get it easily when the cap is not on. I feel that is was a bad design decision when they decided to put the belt clip on the lid. This makes it difficult to quickly unscrew and drink with one hand and almost impossible to replace the cap with one hand while secured to a belt. Yes, this water botle holds water and yes it is a sturdy design but no, I would not recommend a friend pay this much for it.
