Water Bottle Holder w/ Compass & Carabiner Clip

I travel every week. I am in an airport every week. I have several different types of water bottle tethers. I was excited to get this one, as it looked easy to attach. The problem is that it is even easier to detach. So much so, it does so on its own for nearly every brand of water.

The concept is great. However, it simply does not work consistently enough for me to rely on.

Any frequent traveler who spends a large amount of time on an airplane should know that carrying fresh water with you on flights over an hour is paramount. However, traveling with a loose bottle is cumbersome. These items are a godsend to frequent travelers. Once again, this one slips off the bottle for nearly every brand of bottled water I''ve used it with. So it will have to be retired to the dreaded junk drawer.

The ones with rubber O-rings work better even though some are difficult to get attached to the bottle. The point is they stay attached.

Does the job; what more can I say? Oh yeah, compass fell off almost immediately; didn''t need it anyway. 20th word.

I bought 4 of these for a family trip 2 years ago. They worked great. We all had one attached to the carry on bag with an empty plastic water bottle. We filled the bottles at a water fountain once we were through security and used them at least 25 times since that trip. They work great. One word of advise, don''t twist the bottle off of the clip you can bend the clip and then it doesn''t hold the bottle as tightly. Pull the clip off straight off of the bottle, or better yet, use the carbiner clip to free the bottle and clip when you want to drink. These work great as well, (2) Water Bottle Holders W/ Purple Aluminum Carabiner Attachments I prefer the metal clip over the rubber holder.
