Many people complain these bottles leak at the spigot, and many of them will due to a poor mold used to form the bottle. At the spigot, it is common to find the left and right side don''t match up evenly, or there is a ridge of resin at the seam. I solved this problem with a Dremmel tool, I just used a small sanding disk and filed off the excess plastic until the area around the spigot washer is smooth. Viola! No leaks. Quick, simple fix for a common problem with these bottles.

I bought one of these and it leaked from the spigot collar. Tried tightening it, but it still leaked. Had to keep a towell under it. Last time I filled it at the store, it fell over in the car and the spigot broke off completely. The design is fine and fits well in the refrigerator but I had to return the first one due to leakage from the point where the spigot meets the collar.
