Ultimate Direction Fastdraw 10-Ounce Hand-held Bottle, BlackI use this bottle (10 oz) during 10K + races for carrying a glucose drink and a gel pack. Then, at the aid stations, I take on water. It''s relatively light, doesn''t affect my arm swinging or stride, and tightens nicely about my hand so that I don''t have to clench it.

What you don''t want to do is leave a sugar drink in it for a few days. The stuff that starts growing is really hard to clean out because of the bottle''s shape. Rinse it out after each use.

This seems like a perfect bottle for me. My car key fits nicely. There is just enough water. The only part that I don''t like is the weird hand fit. I don''t have particularly large or small hands but the ridges for finger grips (I am assuming) are so awkward that it is uncomfortable to carry unless I carry it upside down. I worry that the water will accidentally drip out and it is awkward to turn it around to drink mid-run. I recommend trying out a bottle in a store to see if it fits comfortably.

This is seriously the best yet 10 oz hand held I''ve had to date! I have purchased so many and gone through so many. This is made of material that won''t tear. The spout is durable, so it won''t leak, and it is conformed to you hand. I love it.

This is comfortable and I like being able to use the pouch for carrying an ID and my car key. I wish the pouch was a little bigger but it serves its purpose.

I run a lot, and have recently been training for my first marathon. I have never carried water or food with me while running, because I hate holding anything. I am able to go about 12 miles without anything, but if I want to have the energy to go further, I HAVE to be rehydrating and ingesting some carbs before that point. Being a dietitian, I know how important these two things are for performance. I''ve tried running with a larger 22-oz bottle before and it''s puts too much stress on my arm and shoulder. So I ordered the Ultimate Direction 10-oz hand-held bottle. I am very pleased. It is lightweight and I hardly notice it''s there. The cap is a little hard to open and close, but I make do. I took the advice of some other reviewers in placing a paper towel between the bottle and my hand to keep my hand from getting too cold. The pocket is smaller than I expected, but it works. It can hold a credit card or drivers license and/or 2 gels if you really cram them in there. Keep in mind though, 10 ounces of water is not enough for long runs. I use this bottle and do ~5 miles loops around my house, at which point I stop to refill it with larger bottles I put outside along my route. If you''re doing a continuous long run with no chance to refill, you probably want a larger bottle.
