these are the perfect solution to having a glass drink bottle to travel with. they are very durable, I have dropped mine on my ceramic tile twice and still no cracks. Love that they keep drinks cold for longer too.
I ordered this for in my child''s lunchbox. We ordered larger sized bottles for regular use and absolutely love them! We are trying to avoid using toxic chemical leeching plastics and these bottles are perfect for carrying drinks around. Initially I was concerned about it being glass and breaking but after more than 6 months of use they are still in new condition! The glass is wonderfully durable and thick. The cap is fitted with a flat ring gasket that easily seals when the cap is just hand-tightened. These bottles do not leak! :) The silicone sleeve is a great addition; it helps protect the glass and adds a nonslip surface to grip... not to mention they make them in such a variety of colors! My kids loved being able to pick the color of their cover and cap. This option makes identifying who the bottle belongs to! I will definitely purchase more of these bottles for other loved ones in the near future. Note, they do have a slight smell when first unwrapped. This is simply from the product being new. It in no way affected the beverages held in the bottle and quickly went away. Leaving the bottle simply sit out after unwrapping it and giving it a quick wash in warm soapy water will get rid of the smell. I highly recommend Lifefactory''s bottles. They are an outstanding quality product that will last for years and are well worth every cent spent on them.
