I used this item once and when i filled it up the water start driping from the middle seam ,I couldn''t fill it up because my pants were getting wet.... very unhappy , i just throught it away, i didnt pay much for it, but i thought it will last more than one trip.... im going to try the plastic canteen now.... DONT BOTHER BUYING THIS ITEM!
Not only does this item fit wonderfully into my camping backpack but it also is light weight as well i love this little canteen and i can not wait till i can order more of them i hope they come in bigger sizes i would love to have a whole collection of these

This is way easier to clean that one of the plastic canteens. The aluminum doesn''t stain when you have flavored drinks or coffee. I had a plastic canteen and it held the taste of cherry koolaid through several water rounds. Also, the plastic is harder to rinse the soap taste out of. The aluminum is far superior to cleaning.
