Superior canteen. Like not having logos or stickers on it. its flexible & see thru. Black cap a plus. Wide opening for filling, pouring, drinking. Strap is nice..long enough to be able to control the cap with fingers when drinking. Light weight. Fits in cup perfectly. This is the only canteen I will ever use again. I highly recommend it to anyone who camps, backpacks or hikes. Have already recommended to friends.
I wanted something that would fit in a gi canteen holder, but was see through to make inspecting for algae easier. this canteen is also bpa free which is nice.

These are excellent canteens. They''re super tough. I received a set as a gift, and have carried those around for two years and two duty stations. They have been dropped, stepped on, kicked, dragged through the rocks, skidded down a road from a moving vehicle... and they have held up amazingly well. There are a few little nicks and scratches, but nothing deep and nothing that would affect the function at all. They keep your water tasting like... water. US General Issue canteens always make your water taste funny. You can see through these which is nice for a quick visual confirmation of how much water is left... and this also makes it easier to see if there is anything in your canteen that should be... dirt, mold, etc. They wash out quite easily and mold doesn''t stick to the inside like USGI canteens. Because the light shines through, it also prevents the mold from growing as easily. The only complaint that I have is the lids like to come unscrewed if you don''t tighten them down very deliberately. It may simply be the canteen placement on my rack, or perhaps just the lids themselves... but it isn''t uncommon for me to bend over and have water spill all over my gear from a loose lid. Give that lid a deliberate twist when you put your water away, and it won''t be an issue.
