what is it with children''s sippy and bottle makers? Can''t they get it right? This one leaks too! So it''s of no use to me for a lunch box....if anyone has found something that will work in a lunch box and NOT leak..please let me know!

We have the Butterfly bottle from 3 yrs ago and after being taken to preschool every day, rinsed out every night and getting a good clean in the dishwasher every weekend, it''s held up Great. Recently ordered the ''horses'' for Kindegarden, only b/c the old one has some paint coming off the bottom and there''s a big dent in the side. I''m ordering now one extra one for us to take on our busy days when we go from 1 activity to the next. Love these Bottles!This is a cute little bottle for my daughter''s lunchbag and I''m glad she has enjoyed it, but now that we have had it for over a year I can honestly say it is a pain in the rear to get clean, and you really can never get the nozzle properly clean if you have no dishwasher (maybe if you have one it''s fine). The part you drink through is white and black you can see gunk build up in the white area and sort of where the black is, but it''s not easy to see the stuff there. I have a baby bottle brush so I can get into the bottle to scrub it & I use the nipple brush to try to clean the mouthpiece, but you can never get into the hole where the beverage comes out. My daughter took the bottle on a 4-day road trip (I washed it w/o the brush while away) and when we got home I scrubbed it and literally saw chunks of black mildew (or something nasty) coming off when scrubbed the inner part of the black nozzle. I will try boiling it but I don''t know if that will mess it up (or help)I am glad it came as a 2-pack so I have a second one to replace it with but I don''t'' trust it to stay clean!Want Crocodile Creek 13.5 oz 13.5 oz Stainless Steel Reusable Drinking Bottle (Ballerina) Discount?
