The bottle doesn''t make my water taste like plastic/rubber. It is very durable, I have dropped it while putting it into my road bike''s bottle cage going ~25mph more than once (not that it doesn''t fit into the cage nicely, I just have cheap cages), and it only did cosmetic damage. The item does not have a pull-top open, like the product picture shows. The water comes out when sufficient pressure inside the bottle can expel the water from the bottle (e.g. If you squeeze with some significant force, or suck on the nozzle.) While I appreciate the lack of fragile, breakable moving parts in this bottle, the rubber gasket on the nozzle is hard to clean.

Overall, I will consider this bottle again if I ever need another, or need to replace it.

pretty, but arrived with the pop up top broken off, slimy feel to the plastic, squished too easily, and leaked. Don''t waste your money. Spend a little more. Amazon was lovely and refunded me full price without having to ship back, so am spending a little bit more to (hopefully) get quality.
