This is a 20 oz water bottle that not only purifies your water, it makes is alkaline. I have a water ionizer machine at home, but sometimes I go to a place where I can''t possibly pack enough water (gym, combat zone, camping trip). This thing is awesome to have around. I simply fill it up and let it filter, then I have purified and ionized water wherever I''m at no matter how bad the water source is. If you use alkaline water already, you''ll know that you can''t go back to municiple tap water. This is the fix to make sure you never have to. I have never been much of a water drinker, always adding something to it to get my 8 glasses a day. This water filter has turned my attitude around. Even if I hadn''t read about health benefits of alkaline water, I would use this anyway because it produces the most wonderful water I have had in my 59 years of life. I don''t add anything to it, just drink it straight. Be forewarned, it spoils you for regular water. I fill it up and let it filter in the refrigerator. I can take it to work, or anywhere. I won''t be traveling without it. I can''t find anywhere that it says how to get replacement filters, but I figure it is saving me money on juice or soda. I tested my water before and after, and it definitely does what it says. They include the testing drops with the filter. Enjoy! After reading a lot of all the supposed benefits of alkaline water I broke down and bought the H2gO Portable Alkaline Water Purifier to see what the effects would really be for me. After cleaning the housing, soaking the filter and dumping the first couple of times to remove the loose filter material, I tested the resulting filtered water a couple times with some pH test strips. My tap water before filtering was about a 6 on the strips and the best the filtered water reached was somewhere between 7 and 8. I had been expecting a reasonably strong 9 hence my disappointment. Additionally, this filter is very small with only about a 20 oz. capacity. It is very over priced at this size and capacity as the parts are all just plastic. Even if the filters are $20-25 a piece, this thing should only be selling for about $30. The filtered water tastes fine. The particulates went from 48 on the tap water to 54 on the filtered water so the filter is adding something as it is apparently supposed to do. All in all, I am not pleased with the filter and would not advise anyone to purchase one. It is definitely not a good bargain.Want H2gO Portable Alkaline Water Purifier Discount?
This is my first review on Amazon. This product is amazing. I''ve taken many supplements (vitamin D3, omega-3 fish oil, silica from bamboo, evening primrose oil, oregano oil, etc.) and changed my diet (eliminating dairy, red meat, sugar, soda, gluten, and nightshades) to try to heal my psoriasis. Many of those things have helped, but nothing in comparison to this water filter. Within 3-5 days I started seeing my plaques go down in size and redness. I feel more energized and clear-minded. It comes with a PH dropper to test the PH as well. I tested filtered water, tap water, and then tried both in the water filter. Filtered water from a Brita and a water machine were highly acidic (less than 7 PH), while tap water was around neutral (7 Ph), and once I put each kind through the H2gO... it turned very alkaline. The water doesn''t taste strange either, which I was originally worried about. Instead of spending thousands of dollars on a water ionizer I feel that this is a cheap solution to many people''s problems.Save 19% off
