I originally bought this water bottle holder to strap a small fire extinguisher onto the MOLLE panel in my FJ Cruiser. I was surprised to find that the bag is triangular with three flat sides, so it didn''t MOLLE strap to the panel exactly the way I wanted it to be oriented. However, I found a less expensive bag for the fire extinguisher, and now use this Maxpedition H2O bag to hold all of my Go Pro camera accessories, including the camera inside a Pelican hard case, battery/memory card pouch, suction cup mount, head strap mount, another pouch with 8 flat/curved surface mounts, all of the cables and car battery charger plugs, short flexible tripod, Floaty Back for the camera carrier, etc. etc. etc. This H2O bottle holder is padded making it surprisingly perfect for camera equipment, and it has the ruggedness and high quality zippers, velcro, and MOLLE loops that we have come to expect from Maxpedition. No, Maxpedition prices aren''t cheap, but neither are their products.

Maxpedition is by far some of the highest quality tactical equipment I have ever used in my modest 26 years or experience with such products. Pick anything and I will tell you it is outstanding. Zippers, nylon, water resistance, layout, it is all as it should be.

This bottle holder is way too expensive. If I hadnt of found it used I wouldnt have bought it. That being said, it is an excellent piece of gear. As with all maxpedition products, the material and construction is top notch. I was suprised at how big it was. Theres room in there for a nalgene plus fuel canister, pocket stove etc... The insulation is also really thick, its like a miniature cooler. I would say if you find a good deal on one, or if you just have plenty of cash to spend, get one. I just think forty dollars is a little much for a bottle holder pouch.
