I have used one of these since 1996. I find them better than camlebacks mainly because they are easier to keep clean. You don''t have to worry about a filthy mouth piece and special cleaning instructions. For tactical use the collapsible one is great. You don''t want the sound of sloshing water. So simply drink and squeeze the canteen until the air is out and recap it. The water can''t slosh around.

I love these canteens, they are the next best thing to a camelback. They don''t slosh when half full (like the hard plastic ones do) you just push out the air and seal. They take up less space when empty, as compared to the hard plastic type. It also has the M1 gas mask cap, so you can drink without taking off your mask or opening your canteen. You just click the hose that comes with the mask right into the cap to drink. This is a new condition canteen. I would also suggest that you purchase the carrying case for this if you want to hook it on your belt or rucksack.

for the price i got mine for i wish it came with a cover for it But its still a nice product and u can purchase covers on amazon. does wat it was made to do. ruBBery smell and taste wen u drink from it But not overpowering. lid screws on nicely and does not leak. its an odd shape so u cant stand it up it has to Be layed down on its side when not carried. also collapsiBle .
