Ultimate Direction 20oz Classic Bottle

I have had one of these clipped to the back of my climbing harness for 10 years. Constantly scraped, dragged, sat on, dropped in the harshest of granite and sandstone environments and always there when I needed a drink. I bought a new one just in case, but the original seems like its going to go forever.

I''ve run with the newer model for some years and on a whim thought I''d try the older version which I use to use. The newer one is better, this one the lid was difficult to put on and the nozzle was also difficult to use.

i bought this bottle at amazon. they sent me one that has an awful bottle thread. it''s nearly impossible to screw on the cap! i have to place it on a surface to line it up exactly or else it''ll leak. the spout falls backwards when i try to drink out of it. it''s SO frustrating to use!!!!!! needless to say, i''d never use this bottle for a race when time is of the essence. but i can''t justify paying for return shipping to send this bottle back, so i''m stuck with it. i felt confident buying this online since ultimate direction usually has great products. i have ultimate direction products from 2003 that work just fine. maybe they''re quality has gone down the drain.

i truly regret not buying this at a store where i could have tested it (sans liquid) first to see if it''s structured properly. what a bummer. at least it''s BPA free. my patience is wearing with this bottle. it''ll end up in the goodwill bag soon.
