Love it, keeps water cold longer and keeps them from sweating and getting all over your table tops. Have used this backpacking as well and works fine (not as rugged as I would like it to be). Have used one for well over 18 months now and have laundered it several times with no problems. Just bought three more to be able to rotate them.Nalgene Cool Stuff Neoprene Carrier 32 ozI am a collegiate rower and coaches require that water bottles in the boat be covered to prevent scratches to the inside of the boats. Originally I used a sock, but wanted something that looked a little classier. This product was a perfect fit. Unfortunately, within 3 weeks of owning it and using it the seams were already coming undone. I don''t know if this is because of the constant sliding on in the boats because the seams that are separating are on the bottom where the end is sewn to the cylinder. Additionally the black nylon strap with the D ring is also separating due to poor sewing quality.
Also, I really have not paid attention to how well it keeps my water cool, that is not a concern of mine.

This sleeve was advertised to fit a 32oz Nalgene bottle, it does not. It reaches only about 3/4 of the way up the bottle when you slide it on. There is a drawstring that presumably you should be able to cinch tight if the sleeve were long enough to reach the neck of the bottle, but it''s not. The sleeve barely fits the length of the bottle, so the drawstring just hangs there uselessly. No amount of tugging could pull the sleeve up any more.IT LEAKED. Advertised to be safe to put in backpack, tote bag, etc, without fear of getting contents of your bag wet. Lie. Condensation leaks through neoprene within 20 minutes and will wet anything you put it on or near including pants! (do not put in lap, do not put near library books...)
Product needs to be bigger to accommodate 32oz Nalgene bottle and properly lined for being leak proof as advertised. Returned for refund.

I just received these covers/carriers, and was I disappointed. Putting the 32 oz. Nalgene bottle in this carrier was like trying to put a size 6 shoe on a 8 foot. It doesn''t have a wide enough loop to use on a wide belt that one would normally wear, when carring a water bottle while hiking, etc.. Forget the drawstring, unless, like me you decide to put your 16 oz. nalgene in this carrier. I have a nylon carrier that I''ve had for 10 years, has a wide loop for wide belts, a drawstring to close it down aroung the 32 oz. bottle amd I use it while hiking, for work, ( I work outdoors ), and I''m still using it. This one, forget about it.Nalgene Cool Stuff Neoprene makes for a good insulator for your water bottle. However, one of the reasons I had purchased it was in hopes that it would be a good carrying device as well. Unfortunately, I have found the loops in it a little too tight for one''s fingers to go through comfortably, and there is no way to adjust them. If it weren''t for this I would give it five stars. The loops are so tight that I''m afraid I will end up tearing the material. I have just continued to carry my water bottle by the loop cap like before.
