I loved the water bottle, but when it came time to clean, i discovered the bottle was hand wash only. This was not listed on the information, unless I happened to miss it. On the bright side, it holds plenty of water, and is very sturdy. I have dropped it a few times already, but it still looks like new!
Cheap Chinese plastic, can''t handle hot water. High price for such low quality. For another couple of bucks you can get a LARGER Nalgene bottle that''s made in the USA and it CAN handle hot water. I am really disappointed by the way this product is marketed. When you go off-shore and create a cheaper product, it should be sold as a cheaper product. This product is masqueraded as being a good value, when, in fact, was very inexpensive to produce, with little or no quality assurance standards in place during manufacturing. These Chinese products should be advertised and sold for what they are, and not marketed to trick the consumer into paying an equal amount for an inferior product. I have nothing against producing cheap products, but really, they should be marketed as such.
