I bought this for our fridge and I''m not impressed with this bottle at all.If you screw the lid on, the water doesn''t come out since there is no ventilation opening. Bad design.
And the spigot tends to drip a bit, which is annoying.
I wouldn''t recommend this product.
Update:
The bottom of our fridge was full of water this morning, clearly from
the dripping water bottle. I''m going to throw this thing out as soon as
I''ve found a better alternative.
Stay away from this junk!We brought this for our camping needs. We had a similar bottle before but it broke after dropping onto the ground. This refrigerator bottle is better built and more tough. The handle makes it easy to lug around when we were at the camp ground. Should last much longer than the previous brand. We like it so much, we brought a 3 gallon one as well.

I ordered 2 Bluewave 2 Gallon Refrigerator Bottles and the spigots on both of them dripped. I had seen another reviewer say their bottles dripped also, but then another reviewer said theirs was OK, so thought the drippy spigots was an isolated case but guess not. So what''s the problem and are you looking into getting this design problem fixed? If not then take them off the market, what good is a drippy water jug?????Read Best Reviews of Bluewave 2 Gallon Refrigerator Bottle Here
Prepare to have your mind blown:1) I unwrapped it
2) I washed it
3) I filled it with water
4) I flicked the tab on the spigot
5) Water filled my glass
6) I flicked the tab again
7) Water stopped flowing
8) The water''s movement remained arrested until I came back for a refill
What hath God wrought?

I''ve tried several different drink dispensers and they all fell short in one way or another... I''m pretty brutal on the dispensers, to be honest... I fill them up 1/4 of the way and freeze them for when I make fresh tea... and they buckle after a while or the valve starts leaking... But not with the Bluewave. THIS THING IS AWESOME! I own two of them; one for tea and one for lemon-aid.This thing is very thick and sturdy and I love the carrying handle, but I think my favorite feature is the air vent on the front (it isn''t shown in the photo)... It''s just a little tab (think of the tab you pulled on to fill an old-school squirt gun, only very small) but it''s a great solution to a problem that plagues EVERY dispenser!
Very happy with this thing!
