My drinking tube still froze before I even had time to drink any water. Wouldn''t recommend this for use in anything near 20 degrees. Swapped out the mouth piece though so I can still use it to insulate my water in the summer. Besides the fact that it didn''t work, the neoprene seems good and the mouthpiece cover is nice and easy to use with gloves.
Insulation and the cover do help to prevent freezing of the liquid. "Tested" at 12,000 elevation at 5F.
