Even as the previous review doesn''t seem genuine.. I am a full 5 star fan of this shaker. I am back today to purchase 2 more for friends. It is really great. Definitely does not hold the odor that a plastic shaker cup can hold after mixing a protein shake. In the past I would bleach my shaker cups to get them very clean before using them again, but that seems to degrade the plastic that the cup is made of.. so that quickly ended. I stuck to just mixing shakes in large cups and eventually buying the Rubbermaid© plastic containers as a substitute. The issue there was cleanup was difficult and the seal on them really wasn''t made for that kind of use.So I find these Fit & Fresh Cleantek Stainless Steel Shaker Cup, Stainless Steel, 26-Ounces.. and I am in a very happy place :) They cleanup well, the lid goes on tight.. the airflow through the top is perfect when drinking through the sip cup lid.. and they hold a proper size shake that can actually be a good pre-or post workout beverage... it really is a great product. I have had mine for a few weeks now and cleanup is awesome. One I forgot in the sink when i was letting it sit with ht water, and no issue on the smell after I washed it, as would have been with a plastic cup. I highly recommend this shaker cup. I don''t think you can be disappointed.
P.S.
I realize that it is a bit more pricey than may shaker cups.. but at teh rate i was replacing them.. i think it''s worth it.Nice shaker, solid design. I''ve been using it now for about 6 months, daily use here are the PROS and CONS
Cons: difficult to clean the lid, the shaker piece does not come apart and is difficult to get inside the lid to clean. Wish it was doubled walled. Very cold drinks (as when using ice) make it very cold to the touch.
PROS: Great size, easy to use, seals great, have had no issues, when closed right, with ANY leakage, NONE, which is a plus for me as this is always my main frustration with this type of containter. The drink spout is a good size and is very easy to drink from. containier fits well in cup holder. Overall good solid cup and will last a long time.
NOTE** I wash the container by hand, says it''s diswasher safe, but I''d rather not risk ruining the gasket in the lid or damaging the outside of the cup, very nice looking. I''m very pleased with the purchase but I''ll be looking for a double walled version.

I wish more stainless steel shakers were available. Fortunately this shaker is quite well made. The lid has what looks like a silicone gasket and has never leaked so far.If you have ever left a plastic shaker with protein mix longer than day or more, no matter how hard you clean, there is always some smell left after it is dry. I found with this stainless steel shaker, you can really clean and remove all the residue.
The one problem with this shaker is the integrated agitator. You can not easily clean behind the agitator and will leave a smelly mess unless you use a dishwasher.
After I carefully cut the agitator out, this shaker is now the only one I use.

I''m excited for a stainless shaker. Sometimes plastic holds in a rotten smell even after washing if left unwashed overnight with protein. I don''t think I''ll have this problem with the stainless.Stainless is just more fresh or clean than plastic seems to be.
Another thing I love about this shaker is the inlet for air under the hinge. When you''re drinking it flows real nice due the inlet.
Under the lid is a mixing screen that is part of the lid = no wire ball to lose.
Everything seems to sill nicely and snug. No leaks.I was looking for a stainless steel and leak-proof shaker cup for my post-workout protein drink. I have a number of Klean Kanteen SS bottles and I was aiming for that level of quality. All the 5-star reviews here had given me hope. Having used the Fit&Fresh cup a few times now and, while it doesn''t leak if tightened correctly, I''m a little disappointed with how tricky screwing on the cap can be. The grooves on the cap (and the mouth of the cup) are not cut deep or wide enough (like the KK). The plastic is also a little thinner than that of the KK. Combine with a bigger diameter, the cap "gives" a little too easily when I try to screw the cap on. I find it difficult to seat the cap and screw it on correctly. I usually have to try 2-3 times before the grooves "find each other." Also, the grill inside the cap is not removable so I have to squeeze a cleaning pad past the grill and use my finger to clean the underside of the cap. I don''t use it now when I work out at home because it''s too much of a hassle with the cap and the cleaning. I wish Klean Kanteen would make a shaker bottle.
