I bought this aluminum bottle thinking that I was being kind of foolish... I bought the yoga mat and thought it might be funny to have a matching bottle. It''s bigger than I thought it would be (never having owned this type of bottle before), but it''s also small enough to fit in my purse. I''m never without my water bottle these days. It''s always in my purse with some water sloshing around, reminding me to stay hydrated all day. It''s well made and the top is very nicely shaped. The loop is just perfect for purse retrieval and cap spinning. It seems weird to write such a glowing review about a bottle, but it''s quite a nice one.

As a water container, it does the job. Note that it does not keep hot hot, or cold cold. As another reviewer mentioned, the pretty design wears off very quickly. Even just keeping the bottle at the office (that is, I wasn''t carrying it around rubbing against other things), the condensation from the cold water caused the design to rub off after just a couple weeks. After 3 months, the design is almost completely gone. As a bottle, it still works, but you may as well just buy a plain silver one.

I kept it in my bag during everyday activities. The black Damask print is all scratched off the black stuff flakes off as things rub against the bottle or it gets washed. So the design is messed up. It only took a few weeks for that to happen, that is not a lot of wear.

Also, the top leaks. I screwed it in really tight, but it just keep leaking. I had to hold it perfectly upright in my bag, but then if I put the bag down sideways, it leaked.

The top edge of the bottle, where you drink from, is a very sharp metal edge. I am not bleeding or anything, but I can feel the uncomfortable pinch against my lips when I drink from the bottle.

I was very sad after spending money for such a pretty bottle. I threw it away after two months or so, because of the leaking issue.

Beautiful bottle, perfect weight, nice small mouth opening that lets me stay dry. I dropped it hard a few days after receiving it, and it got a little dented but is still plenty sturdy. Just what I wanted!
