When I first saw this item I was intrigued. There are a few situations where I would want to carry some alcohol into a place that checks visitor''s water bottles in order to make sure that you purchase all of your adult beverages from them. I would not try to carry alcohol into an event or place where it is not allowed but I don''t mind being a smuggler when my only other option is to pay for over-priced, watered-down drinks.

This works just as I expected it to. Once you remove the original cap and fastening ring from a water bottle you can re-fill with your choice of beverage and then screw on this cap. It really looks factory sealed. When you unscrew it the cap separates from the fastening ring so it can only be used once. With tax and shipping that comes to about $2 a cap which is worth is to me on those few occasions where I would need it (it''s a whole lot cheaper than paying $8 a piece for some weak drinks.)

Any clear liquor would pass as water, including: vodka; gin; white rum; Tequila Blanco; or for the daring (or in order to serve more people), Everclear. As long as they are used responsibly these seem like a really good idea.

I bought this in order to sneak alcohol onto a cruise using 7-up bottles and they worked marvelously. I only bought 6 and filled 6 bottles of 7-up with liquor, twisted these sealed caps on, and voila! No leakage, looked perfectly original. I highly recommend to anyone who needs to sneak liquor somewhere. Security on the cruise didn''t suspect a thing.

I thought you would able to use these multiple times, but it''s not possible because the seals break after opening and sometime when putting them on. I thought it was a single piece shaped like cap, but in actuality it''s just a normal flimsy bottle cap with seal attached. Not worth the money at all. It''ll get the job done once and only once.
