As a cyclist, I''ve been looking a long time for a water bottle I can drink from without tipping my head back. In the 80''s I had Artesian branded water bottles which were regular water bottles with a thick, removable plastic straw running down the middle. Since my wife pitched them for being "yucky", I have been searching for something else. The Spresh bottles work great! I get plenty of comments as to what I might be carrying in my bottle cages (the design has several similarities with other popular culture objects). The body is made from a rather soft rubber material, which squeezes easily but is a little sloppy in the bottle cage. The one big drawback for me is the weight. They are heavy compared to a regular bare plastic bottle, although they are maybe not much heavier than an insulated bottle (I have no experience with those). They also rattle a bit on rough roads due to the hard plastic base. I really like being able to grab a drink without losing my view ahead. If they could lighten them up they''d get five stars from me.
