Very well made product but I replaced the large carabiner with a size 3 S-Biner because the carabinder has a large indent which made it hard to remove easily from belts or fabric. Still recommend highly.

These items work as promised, they safely hold a bottle of water with a strong rubber ring that is attached by strong nylon (denier?) to a carabiner. The rubber ring was tight, but not too tight I am female with not a lot of upper body strength, and I was able to get the rubber ring on and off different bottles of water without too much trouble. (Remember, you don''t want it to be too easy to get off, or your bottle might fall out!). It worked with at least three types of store bought individual use water bottles, and I imagine it would work with most and possibly all of them.

By the way, the Carabiner was a little big for my use (the bottles I used on vacation were large, and hit a little low on my leg, but I was able to easily replace the clip with a smaller carabiner.) I use it while gardening as well. Also, there is a small metal ring attached to the nylon that can be used to hold keys. I attached a compass to my set using the key ring. Recommended, a good deal, arrived quickly!

Not much to say either way. They are what they say they are. Decently made and rather good quality carabiners.

In 2008, I bought three or four pairs of these, in different sizes for different items/purposes.

They are sturdy, work well and under difficult outdoor conditions, and are one of the simple but indispensable tools that you only notice when they are missing.

These are great and I highly recommend them for hiking or just about any outing.
