Bottle cage fits a regular bicycle water bottle. The bottle pulls out to the side and up, making it a good cage for a bike with a small front triangle that doesn''t fit a water bottle well. The cage is mounted on my mountain bike. Over maybe 30 miles of tight and rough trails, I did not lose a water bottle even though the cage is not recommended for off-road.
