Reliance Fold-A-Carrier Water Carrier-2.5 Gallon (Clear, Small)

This product seems of reasonable quality compared to similar items I have owned in the past. However, it seems strange to me that I have to pay 40% more for a 2.5 gallon unit than I would pay for a 5 gallon one of similar design and quality.

I''m not using this to haul water a long way or store for any length of time. I use it to gather water at the source (lake, stream, whatever) and chemically treat it. After that, I filter it into hydration bladders and nalgene bottles. It only has to hold water for 30 minutes or so while the chlorine dioxide tabs do their job. Works great for that.

Unfortunately I purchased two carriers. On the first use one of them had a hole and leaked in the car during the 4 hour drive to the campsite. I would not purchase this brand of carrier again.
