I normally don''t write reviews but XLAB''s TT water bottle and the manufacture is weak at best, pros: the areo design and integrity of the material used in the bottle itself is awesome, the carbon holder is awesome, holds the bottle tight. Now for the cons "the black cap" is horrible at best, Ive gone through 4 in the last 3 months and XLAB wont sell them seperatley and they want you to send them the deffective cap so they can make the determination or not you didnt drop it. So whats that mean for you and me? Yes that means you have to buy additional bottles. Everyone I have had has cracked sooner or later, one the stoppers broke and fell into the bottle after drinking from it, and a second one when I went to close the stopper it cracked the cap around the stopper. The caps are the weak point in their design and if that were not bad enough XLAB doesnt offer replacement caps that you can buy individually like Speedfil does for example. With my original investment and the 3 additional bottles I have purchased this summer alone I''m into their areo system nearly $100.00 and I''m down to my last cap, after that I''m Deep X''ing XLAB. I wouldnt waste my money like I did, just my opinon.
X-Lab TT Bottle is a great fit on aero frame, If you''re looking for every little bit of aero edge this might help. Only issue I would raise is to practice getting the bottle in and out fo the very narrow bottle cage on the fly.
