My friend ordered one as did myself. It does not seem to seal on the Jug very well. Water still pumps.Abd the spout comes off all the time.

Been using one for several years.It finally quit. Batteries seem to last forever. One of the best values for the money we have bought.I bought original in grocery store. I have just been notified my order has been shipped, and S&H is $16.63.This is more than 1 1/2 times the price of the pump. had I known this I would not have ordered from this vendor. The S&H charge is shown in tiny blue numbers on a light blue background which I didn''t see. Beware! Ron

We bought one of these from our water store as they no longer carried the Dolphin pumps. First, the down tube reaches nowhere near the bottom of the 5 gallon bottle, so about a gallon of water is left in the bottom and the pump has to be moved to the new bottle and the remainder in the old needs to be poured out as needed. Second, the attachment collar does not attach the pump to the bottle so it is always loose and wobbling around.We bought another new Dolphin pump from Amazon and it is working fine. They need to seriously re-engineer this piece of junk before putting it back on the market.

This pump is excellent. We have just spent our first winter in Yuma where the water is salty so we have to use bottled water for drinking purposes. We had a hand pump and two of those 5 gallon water containers which worked Ok but got tiresome after a while. Friends had one of these pumps but we couldn''t find one in the usual RV stores but found it eventually on Amazon who could ship to our RV Park. It has worked trouble free for over two months now and I would recommend it to anyone who has to dispense water from those 5-gal bottles. The unit doesn''t snuggly fit the top of a Walmart 5-gal bottle but still worked fine, the other bottle we have is from somewhere else and the unit fit well. We haven''t had to change batteries yet and it''s still going strong. All in all an excellent purchase.

I used it for two days and was not satisfied with output flow. It was like filling a glass with a straw! It was also noisy. I replaced it with a $10 Primo® water pump and it works fine. I''ll be putting the electric pump in the recycle bin were it belongs.
