I put a Minoura Cage holder on the back of my seat on a recumbent trike. It is very easy to install. I plan to use it to hold the bottle of an AirZound air horn. If I don''t need to get access to the bottle holder while sitting in the seat, as is true in this case, it works well, but it wouldn''t work well for me as a water bottle holder since I can''t easily reach it.

Other cage holders extend outward more from the frame and are easier to reach from the seat of my recumbent trike.

I used this product on my drop handlebars, near the stem. It worked beautifully but the stamped metal broke at the bend after 1,000 miles or so of vibration via my all aluminum road bike. (See far right hand side of product image, the circular shaped bend that rests against the red plastic is what broke). Very convenient to have a water bottle on the handlebars to get a drink and deliver one to stray dogs trying to take my ankle home.
