That''s right. It is just a logo that obviously was printed on an inkjet printer and then encased in a plastic holder. Anyone could do this from home. The print quality is ok from a distance, but up close, you can see unsharp edges and faint lines running through it (they could have least invested in a higher quality printer and higher grade paper). The product looks ok, though, but based on the materials, it is overpriced ($12 total is what I think it''s worth).I am going to keep it because who knows what the quality of the other products are, and I''m tired of searching for a decent looking Chargers hitch cover.My main concern at this point is longevity: if it''s just paper under plastic, will it hold up on the back of a car in all sorts of weather? Will it get wet, or fade in the sun? I''ll follow up later.
Follow up 5/27/11: To be fair, I will report that it has survived so far and still looks good. Even though it is just printed paper under plastic, it serves the purpose.
Follow up 12/16/11: While the printing is still holding up, a new issue I discovered was in the car wash. I had my car washed in an automatic car wash that uses spinning brushes and when it got to the back, it snapped the end part of the plastic over, but it did not fall off. I ended up just straightening it out, but the rigidity is gone. I think I will have to take the hitch off next time.
