Osprey Aqua Stow

Using with Mountainsmith Tour TLS lumbar pack. Works perfect. Easy access to a bottle of water. Now I feel I can carry enough water with this lumbar pack.

This product is just what I needed. After looking online regarding how this water bottle holder works/attached to a pack, it seemed to be just what I was looking for.

I have a Osprey Kestrel 68 and there was no way I could remove my Nalgene bottle from the webbed pockets without removing the pack, which is a hassle when you are on a short water break on a long hike. I guess Osprey must have realized this when they created the Aqua Stow.

As a bonus it works as a stand alone water bottle holder when on a day hike.

Does what it says: securely holds one round water bottle (of most sizes) in a convenient place to grab it. (I haven''t tried it, but I don''t think it will work with 1L military canteens or other non-round water containers unless they''re fairly small.) Need I really say more?

One warning: you have to watch the buckles very carefully. If you transport it buckled, when (not if) the buckle falls off the pack strap, you won''t lose it.

Info supplied with the product does not clarify how to use it in combo with a pack, so right now I''m disappointed with the purchase, but hoping I can figure out how to use it soon. There are several straps and clips, but the set up is definitely not self explanatory.
