I love this in concept but it fails horribly in execution.1. There''s no way to attach a seat wedge under it. The arm that attaches to the seat could be designed to be bag-friendly.
2. There''s a ratchet system that keeps it tilted to the right angle for easier reach. It was fully tightened but still failed on the first big bump of a 100km ride, leaving it flopped down so that the bottles were parallel to the ground. That made reaching back hard, so I had to swap out bottles every two hours; no problem. However, eventually the aluminium bottle cages bent under the load and the bottles just dropped off!
The former is an annoyance, the latter makes the product worthless. Don''t buy this.
Update: I''ve now used this three times, all on long rides when I wasn''t sure I was going to have easily available water for top-ups. "Hey it''s been a while since I used this. Maybe it''s not as awful as I remember?" It''s failed every single time, no matter how much I have tightened it down. I''ve even had the wretched thing fall off my saddle and I bolted it on to the point where the plastic was visibly bending. I''ve tried it both as pictured and inverted and it simply does not work.
