This is a really cool product. I have a hitch mounted bike carrier. With a water bottle cage mounted on the bike, it was like a puzzle getting the bike and cage to fit over the top bars of the carrier. This cage mount allows easy removal of the water bottle cage, leaving only a low profile plastic bracket on the bike frame making it much easier to maneuver the bike on to the carrier. The plastic used make this cage mount is very tough, high-quality material. It''s been used many times over the past several months and has had no problems. Unless abused, it''s very unlikely to break.
