Ok, so all that said there is one downside. It doesn''t hold canned drinks or any type of cylindrical container. The container must be cone shaped and big enough to sit in the holder. So, don''t buy this if you are expecting it to hold a can.
One other small thing, I would have liked for it to fold down out of the way when not in use. It doesn''t fold down. For the price, I wouldn''t have expected that feature. It''s also well made, installs easily and works great for the cups that fit. Also, my handle bars have a number of straight spots. So, this cup holder may not work on the curved racing style handle bars. This cup holder is a good deal for the price. It is half of what I''ve paid for similar coffee holsters. The rubber shims included are hard to install and were still flimsy and easily moved unless clamped to bars 25.4 or wider. lots of bars taper to closer to 22mm after the stem clamp. I think I will venture to the hardware store and find a suitable replacement for these shims for a few dollars. The cup holder design itself is pretty light and seems solid. It would be nice if it pivoted but you must have a horizontal flat bar to clamp to.
