Very good construction, and it can clamp down with great force. Despite that, I still had to use a little contact cement between the protective sleeve and my handlebars, to secure a full bottle in the holder. I also tipped back the assembly about a 45 degree angle, keeping the bottle''s center of gravity over the bar. It does not budge!
Use some sort of napkin, or other soft material to line the inside of the ring so that it doesn''t scratch your bike when installed. Will clamp on, but have a allen wrench available to tighten fully.
Overall, a pretty good product, well worth the price.
