I bought this water bottle in black but wanted to included the review here as well, since this is an exceptional water bottle that warrants more information.

This water bottle is really a work of art rather than just a water bottle. It has a high-quality hand-made look to it. The glass is thick and wavy with tiny bubbles in it, so sturdy. The silicone grips are soft and secure. The silicone top is also soft but strong; it hangs down when it is off rather than sticking out and dripping.

All of the silicone parts can be removed to clean occasionally; only the top would need to be cleaned every time. The bottle has a wide mouth and is very easy to clean with a bottle brush. The company suggests that if your bottle is used for water, then a quick warm water rinse would work; for the occasional deep clean, you can shake with warm soapy water and rinse.

The glass bottle is optimal for the taste and safety of your water, plus you can see just how much liquid is in the bottle. The bottle is also very safe--the silicone is food grade and BPA-free and PVC-free. The bottle is made from at least 75% post-consumer recycled glass and has no plastic whatsoever.

It is very expensive, but it is for me worth every penny. I hope to use it for many years to come.

I picked this up awhile back because I was simply fed up with all the warnings and garbage associated with plastic bottles (including the BPA free). I was hesitant because...well...it''s GLASS.

I got it and was very pleasantly surprised. It''s heavy, solid build, and good looks make for a great combination. The water never develops that icky plastic taste. I''ve had tons of compliments on it and I will be purchasing a few more. Well worth the money and peace of mind.
