Nalgene 32-Ounce Tritan Wide Mouth Glow Water Bottle

I have been using my Nalgene bottle for about 10 years, and I finally got around to replacing it with one that is BPA free, and also bought this one as a backup. Like most people with these bottles, I''ve been fairly rough on mine, but it has nothing more than a few minor scuffs. I pretty much use it for everything, and take it everywhere. While this bottle seems a little different, it so far appears that it will last me as long as my original one did. The glow of it is not blue like it is in the photo, but when I took a photo of mine in the dark, it did look kind of like that. The reality is that it is a light glow, just like that of most anything that glows. Sometimes it''s fairly faint, but sometimes it really seems to shine. I ''m really impressed by Nalgene in general, but this glowing is pretty spectacular. I can find it more easily when the lights are off, and I imagine this will be invaluable when driving at night on a road trip. No more feeling around the car to figure out where your bottle rolled off to. Now you can see it! Assuming this bottle lasts like the others, all of my future Nalgene bottles will probably be glow in the dark.

Just as sturdy as any other Nalgene, no noticeable plastic scent. The glow is plenty to help you find it in a dark room (or car).

After over two years together, I accidentally left my last Nalgene on a bus, never to be seen again. When I finally overcame the guilt and felt ready to start looking for a new water bottle, I considered other brands and different materials, but I guess I have a type: the super rugged and durable Nalgene. While I really like all the bright colors they come in, the glow-in-the-dark bod of this one really caught my fancy. I decided to give it a chance and it''s worked out really well. No doubt this is just like any other regular nalgene bottle, but just having the glow in the dark part is super fun! I tend to drink too much coffee and soda, so this purchase was a nice way to "entice" me to drink water. I liked it so much, I got the green glow in the dark one too!

I find that the bottle stays glowing for a pretty long time, sometimes Ill wake up in the middle of the night to see it still going!
