BioGreen Biodegradable BPA-Free Easy Hold Sport Bottle (30-Ounce)

BioGreen Biodegradable BPA-Free Easy Hold Sport Bottle with Wide Mouth and DuoFlow LidDespite a single one star review, I ordered two of these bottles. Upon arrival, I filled them up, screwed the caps on and squeezed. One cap leaked at the threads. The second blew off. Threads didn''t work very well on the second try tough to line them up. I usually say that there''s got to be a complainer or three in every product review, so they''re disregarded. This one happened to be the most accurate. Since the bottles cost less than $4 each, they''re not worth returning. Maybe they''re good for desktop drinking, but I wouldn''t take one on a hike or bike ride. Finally, even with all the great claims about being biodegradable, recyclable, recycled, and reusable, these bottles came individually sealed in big clear plastic bags which will be dumped into some landfill to live for 500 years.

The cap on the product I received could not be screwed on straight no matter how much I tried. Because of this, the product leaked and could not be used. I did not exchange because the trouble would have been more than the cost of the product, so I do not know if the replacement would have been free of defects, but I do not recommend and would not purchase again.

This bottle has a faulty design, the lid leaks.

This company needs to revisit their design and fix this.

The bottle would be fine for about the house or gym training but not for active hiking or running.

It will leak everywhere, I wish I could give it zero stars!

This bottle smelled a bit chemically when I got it, but a quick wash and rinse out with baking soda took care of that. I''ve found it to be an excellent water bottle, as it is easy to screw the lid on and it doesn''t leak. The plastic is soft enough that it''s easy to squeeze. It came with a set of information about how it was without these certain chemicals, and how it degraded only under specific landfill situations (in the presence of the bacteria found in landfills, so don''t worry about it falling apart in your hand it you keep it filled with water for a while). The only minor issue I have: since the plastics are kind of soft, it is sometimes difficult to unscrew the top to fill it, but it''s not too bad, and I understand why.

Will purchase more when my other inferior water bottles can no longer be used.
