This is a great cage that works well, bottles slide in and out pretty easily and it doesn''t have any lips that would catch a loose pant leg that easily. Not only that, it looks good. Now for the downside: I bought 3 for an old touring bike but only ended up installing them one after another on my commuter. While commuting in Seattle over the broken pavement probably halves the life of most products, I''ve had three of these cages all fail on me in the same way after around 4-6 months, when my other bikes with their cages from Specialized, etc. all survived just fine. Check out the product images for details on how they failed. There is an Arundel stainless steel cage of a similar design that takes a slightly heavier cage approach that I will try next time; I think the attempts to go lightweight on this cage were its downfall.Save 13% off
